                                ORDINANCE NO. 9478
        
        
                   AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE CHATTANOOGA CITY
                   CODE, PART II, BY INSERTING A NEW SECTION 26-20
                   RELATIVE TO ADMISSION FEES FOR AEROBIC AND/OR
                   SIMILAR EXERCISE PROGRAMS.

              	    BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
         CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That the Chattanooga City Code, Part 
II,
         be and the same is hereby amended by inserting a new Section
         26-20 as follows:
                   "Sec.26-20. Admission Fees for Aerobic and/or
                   Similar Exercise Programs.
                  
                   In order to defray the necessary cost and
                   expense of operating aerobic and/or similar
                   exercise programs at facilities operated by
                   the City of Chattanooga, the City Council may
                   from time to time establish by resolution such
                   admission fees as it deems necessary for
                   aerobic and/or similar exercise programs
                   offered to the public."
                  
              	   BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, that this Ordinance shall take 

         effect two weeks from and after its passage as required by law.
